If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Well, we never met face to face, but I remember you responding when I emailed you about the greatness of Do You Hear The Pipes, Cthulhu and you were very polite and thanked me. It's not that you thanked me for the compliment, but the fact that you took the time to reply. Thanks.

I remember you playing and singing for Greg and me in the hall at a GaFilk. I also remember you sitting with your mac (iBook?) at the table outside the main filk room at a GaFilk. I remember holding David Glasser and having him eagerly reaching for you. I remember having dinner with you and the Glassers this last GaFilk.

You'd think I'd associate you more with Georgia than Singapore at this point!

Mostly Harmless

Over mediocre chinese food at an Atlanta Lag Day, listening to you artfully dissect someone carrying on voce ex recto about some conservative issue that they obviously had caught the meme of without any research or analysis whatsoever.

probably slightly mortified?

Fun with helium from the Pizza Hut balloons at some British con - I can't figure it out which one it was. You and Brenda Sutton were the best Smurfs.

Let's see... How about the first time, probably at a GaFilk, I heard you sing "Fanboy Soul" and realized that we were even closer kindred spirits than with the rest of fandom and filkdom, even though we've never really sat down and talked. Plus, my appreciation of your songwriting skills immediately kicked into overdrive.

The first time we met IRL was at a con. I recognised you immediately - short, Chinesey bloke in an Arsenal shirt. You had no idea who I was but were kinda pleased at me being excited to see you.

Gosh, I don't remember what year, but I definitely recall looking over at you in the circle at Gafilk and thinking "Wow, Terence is really handsome in that out fit . ."

I think you were wearing a sharp vest, dress pants, and hat . .

Let's see... since we've never met face-to-face, I am left with an IRC memory: you and FreplySpang playing off each other joking about Wikipedia is Communism; I enjoyed your quick wit and wished I had thought of your lines (and hers!) first...

During one of the GaFilks when you were at UGA, we talked for a while about your thesis project, and you had an infectious enthusiasm about all the weirdness of the case.

Ah the memories. Which to choose from.

Lots of great fun and great food....

I remember sitting in the consuite at Consonance, listening to you sing two of my favorite songs of yours. (Scheherezad Sits and Bad Timing.)
