SDCC 2008: Arrival

Am in my room at the Holiday Inn By The Bay, San Diego, showered and ready to head down to collect my badge. Those who follow me on Twitter will know the basics, but I'll talk in detail about the horror story that was my trip over later (but really, knowing me, is there any other kind?).

In the meantime, this is what I had for breakfast before I left Singapore. The cool thing is that I was reading the New York Times on my iPod Touch.

*laughs* I was thinking of the same thing myself. I feel like I used up all my bat-my-eyes points when he brought me a UK-exclusive Beanie Baby about ten years ago, though.

I am indeed local. I think I went to a meet-n-sniff once locally where you were anticipated, but had a difficulty. Perhaps that was you?

I would be amenable to some kind of arrangement, should that come to be convenient.

Actually...

I saw they had it in two flavours: autographed and non-autographed, for $75 and $50 respectively. I toyed with the idea of buying one each and letting you two death-cage it out... I think the pay-per-views for that alone would be tremendous, not to mention the DVD release...

But I got one for each of you anyway. Details on how to mail it to you, please.
