khaosworksStarted the first of what will be several meals with various friends and acquaintances to say good-bye - today was a dim sum lunch with former colleagues from the Attorney-General's Chambers at Szechuan Court at Raffles City. The post-prandial urge to sleep has never been stronger.
It doesn't help that I stayed up late last night finishing Elite Force II. The ending was slightly better than Elite Force I, but not by much. Best moment had to be trying to reroute power to shut down a warp core breach while the counter was ticking down.
The AppleCenter says Cassandra is ready, but the store that holds the warranty hasn't picked it up yet. Bastards. I'll have to chase their asses on this.
In other news, of course, Strom Thurmond is dead, at 100. If nothing else, the old bigot (excuse me, mildly reformed bigot) got rid of Trent Lott in his own roundabout way for us before he left. I can't wait to see his face when he meets God.
And finds out She's black.
