A good friend is the one who comes and bails out your ass.

A true friend is the one handcuffed beside you saying, "Dude. We fucked up."

I really wish there was some way of Livejournal detecting when a friend's entry indicates that they need a hug or a reassuring reply and let me know because, God knows, I don't have time to read even my inner circle filters anymore and I'm really sorry about this.
